Over the course of my final semester at Oakland University, I delved into my own personal art style while taking an Illustration Style course. Over the course the semester we explored different projects ranging album and story book covers, personal memorabilia, etc.
Album Cover - For the following project we were tasked with creating an illustrative versions of our favorite albums. I took the following references and applied some variation to them.

Stickers - The following prompt of this project was to create a set of stickers for a town, city, or state that we had little knowledge of. Last summer, I visited Lake Placid, New York for my younger brother's skating competition. The town borders the Adirondack mountain range and is primarily known for hosting the Winter Olympics in 1932 as well as 1980.

Ten Pace Drawing -  This prompt tasked us to of sketch out elements in our life that we were thankful for. Soon after, we were told to exchange our sketches with a partner and complete their sketch/concept of what they were thankful for in their life. My partner sketched out several things including: their cat, their ability to draw on their computer and by hand, as well as the ability to listen to music.
I then went on to sketch out my own interpretations of the concepts given to me by my partner while also remaining true to the original sketch. Soon after this, I went into Adobe Illustrator to create my own digital reinterpretation  the sketches.

Book Cover - Throughout the duration this project, we were instructed to create an illustrative interpretation of a book that we had read at some point in our lives. However, the content of the book cover had to have an original concept that had not already been created. For my project, I chose the first installment in the Lord of the Rings trilogy: The Fellowship of the Ring.
